Rich Oil Find in Alsace Will Raise French Output a Third
(Rec. 10.5) PARIS, Sept. 27 There has been discovered at Soultz-Sous-Foret, in Alsace a rich deposit of crude oil. This supply will increase the French output of crude oil by one-third. The Pechelbronn Company makes this claim today. The initial yield is one of one thousand tons a day. It has exceeded that of most of the European and American oil wells. The company is seeking for American financial backing to exploit the find.
