Arnhem Landing Anniversary
LONDON. September 18 British pilgrims and thousands of Dutch people stood in heavy rain for an hour on Saturday morning at a service on the anniversary of the Arnhem landings in Ossterbeek Airborne cemetery, where sixteen hundred Allied men are buried. Halfway through the service, one thousand Dutch children filed into the cemetery, and placed flowers on graves which they tend throughout the year.
