FOUR PRISONERS ARE SENTENCED

P.A. GISBORNE, Aug. I'9 Prisoners were sentenced by the Chief Justice, Sit' Humphrey O'Leary, in the Supreme Court to-day as follows:— Jeffrey Braybrook, 27, labourrer, was sentenced to six months’ hard labour for indecent assault on an 11 i year-old girl. Para Titi Walker was sentenced to six months’ gaol for theft of £BB from Waima Football Club. Bernard Samuels, 21, labourer, was admitted to probation for two years for breaking and entering a theatre office. Tu Christie, 55, labourer, who was found guilty of assualt under extreme provocation, was admitted to probation for a year.
