AUSTRALIAN TEAM CHANGED TO PLAY BAY OF PLENTY
AUCKLAND ,Aug. 13.
Seven changes have been made in the Austialian rugby team to play Bay of Plenty at Whakatane on Saturday. The new players included are: Fogarty, the fast, diminutive wing-three-quarter; Cawsp- half-back; Solomon, who toured New Zealand with the Australian Universities team at first five-eighths: Brockhoff, another universities player on the side of the scrum; K. Gordon lock; B. Wilson, front row; and D. Furness, hooker .
The team is as follows:—Fullback, Piper; three-quarters, Garner, Allan, rogarty; five-eighths, Blomley, Solopion; half-back, Cawsey; front row. "vilson, Furness, Baxter; middle row, Windon, N. Shehadie Gordon, Brockhoff; back row, Cornforth. Emery is still suffering fl’om an injured ..boulder, but this is not consideied serious.
All the other players are fit, with Jie exception of Broad, first five-ei.-.hths, who is still recoving from a knee injury received in Austra.ia. The Australians arrived at Whakatane tnis afternoon, and were welcomed by the Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, and the President of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union, Mr W. S. Henderson. Bay of Plenty players will assemble there on Saturday.
