British Postal Workers' Pav: The British Postmaster-General (Mr. Wilfr:d Paling) has asked the Civil Serviep Arbitration Tribunal to reject a cla’m for higher wages made by the Union of Post Office Workers on behalf of 204.000 employees. The total cost of the wage increase would be £11,500,000 a year. Mr. Paling said he saw no reason to revise the wages agreement made by the union 18 months ago.
