Marine Dept. Picnic
The first picnic of the Westport Marine Department employees was held at Mokihinui on Saturday in ideal weather. Six buses were in attendance and Tully loaded. Many races were run for young and old. The most exciting sport was a tug-of-war. The catering was done by the committee, giving the ladies a day of rest. The committee wishes to thank all who gave trophies. The children all received prizes.
