ADEDAIDE, February 24. Saying that as the Australian Government. had broken off all negotiation? with the British Medical Association there did not seem to be any object in his continuing to hold die position, Sir Henry Thompson hao announced his resignation as Federal president of the association. He added that he bad continued m office with the hope, of arriving .at.ani arrangement! with the Fede.nl Gov ernment to provide a national medical service which could be held up as an example to the world.
