OBITUARY
Mrs Sarah Winter
The death occurred at Greymouth yesterday, of Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Winter. " She was in her seventyninth year, and had been in ill-health for the past three years. A native of Brunnerton. her parents were th- 5 late Mr and Mrs Langdon, who operated Langdon's Ferry across the Grey river in the early days of the settlement of the district. Mrs Winter had lived at Wellington and Christchurch. Her husband predeceased her 18 years ago, and, in 1939, she returned" to Brunner to reside with her sister, Mrs T. Smithers Blackball road. Besides Mrs Smithers she leaves another sister, Mrs M. Graham Rotcmami.
