Letter Discredited at Vatican City
(Rec. 10.40). LONDON, February 23.
In Vatican City, the Vatican newspaper. “Osservatore Romano”, commenting on Cardinal Mindszenty’s letter, said: “The prisoner, in that letter, declares that he saw problems one-sidedly' when he was free, but that, while in his cell, he was able tc see them from all sides. We repeat that we believe the word of the free man, and not of the prisoner”.
