HEALTH WEEK IN GREYMOUTH
Throughout next week, health displays, including the showing of films, will be undertaken in Greymouth by Mrs McKechnie, of the Health Department, who will have the assistance of the District Health and Dental Nurses. The display opens at Wesley Hall on Monday afternoon and continues in the evening for adults only. Dental and food displays will be given, and explanations given to those interested, while in the evening a film on health will be shown. From Tuesday to Friday, the children of Greyrnouth schools will be taken in groups to attend the display, while on Wednesday evening, the general public is invited to witness the screening of a film on industrial health, with explanations by Mrs McKechnie. Similar displays in Reefton last week attracted much attention, and il is the Department’s hope that as many townspeople as possible will avail themselves of the facilities offered next week.
