PALESTINE REFUGEES OBTAIN U.S. GRANT
(Rec 9.10) WASHINGTON, Feb 21. The U.S. Senate has to-day passed a Bill authorising a contribution of 16,000,000 dollars by the . United States for aid to the Palestine war refugees. The money is to go into a special United Nations fund and to be used to aid the 470,000 Arab and Jewish refugees who are scattered throughout the Middle East. The Bill goes to the House of Representatives for approval.
