Rifle Shooting
The strong to gale force southwesterly wind and rain squalls which blew across the pakahi range at the week-end made for some of the most difficult shooting conditions experienced for some seasons, and scores were of a lower standard than usual. The shoot was the second for the third competition, alnd comprised 10 shots at 300 yards, and 11 shots at 600 yards. Leading scores were: J. R. Keoghan (scr) 95; N. Perkins (5) 96; D. Marr (4) 94; G.
