On Saturday, at Westport, pacing exhibitions resulted as follows: — One and a-quarter miles. 2.59 class —J. E. Roche’s Therese (owner) 1; F. Scott’s Gizera (E. Hollis) 2:. J. E. and J. R. Higgins’ Red Queen (J. Higgins) 3. Also started: Mauchline (Mason), First Shot (J. Hazeldine), Welcome Lady (White), Royal Bar (Mclntyre) Loyal Anthem (H. Roberts). Gizera and First Shot led over the first quarter, when Therese ran up on the outside of Gizera. These two fought it out to a close finish, with Red Queen in third place. Time 2.52. One mile.—M.
