AUCKLAND, February 16. For carrying on the business of a bookmaker, Mary Lettie Jordan, aged 33, who conducts a dairy at Takapuna was to-day fined £lO by Mr J. Morling S.M. She told the police that her average weekly betting turnover on commission wa £3O weekly. She declined to disclose the name of the principal.
