Buried R.A.F. Bomb Explodes Disastrously Under German Road

(N.Z.P.A.—Reuter). (Rec 11.0) HAMBURG Dec 19. A 10001 b bomb, which is believed to have been dropped by the R.A.F. during the war, exploded under a main road at nearby Neindorf, killing one man and injuring 45—15 of them seriously. The blast destroyed three houses and damaged 15 other 'buildings. Those injured include •an entire wedding party, who were in one of the damaged bui'/dings; The explosion damaged buildings a mile away. It is believed that a passing lorry caused the bomb to explode.
