CRICKET West Coast Women’s Easy Win Over Mai Moa

The West Coast women’s cricket team travelled to Christchurch over the week-end and had a win over Mai Moa by 164 runs in a one-innings match. The best scorer in the game was H. Jackson, who compiled 60 runs before being caught by J. Marsh from a ball by M. Lawson. R. Donaldson, with 40, was also in good form. Bowling for West Coast R. Donaldson took 5 wickets from 6.5 over. The next best bowler was N. Thomas who took three wickets from 14 overs. Mai Moa batting average was rather low, top-scorer being A. Wise with 12 runs. M.
