CRICKET Grey School Team’s Easy Win Over Canterbury

A Greymouth secondary school team, in a match played yesterday at the Recreation Ground, defeated a Canterbury secondary school (under 16 years) team, by 92 runs. The best batsman of the match was Albertson (Canterbury) who scored 63 runs, and had to retire because of an injury. Albertson was the only player in the Canterbury team to score above five runs. The best batsmen for Greymouth were A. Rowe, who scored 29, Bayley 27, J. Ackland 25, and G.
