Unrest in South East Asia
RANGOON, Oct. 27
A Government communique claims that more than 100 insurgents were killed when Government troops struck hard at a group of over 1000 rebels in the Toungoo district, midway between Rangoon and Mandalay. The communique described it as one of the biggest battles since the insurrection started.
