HOKITIKA, Oct. 28
Representatives of the Rope Construction Company visited Hokitika this week. The company is interested in the building of a new bridge over the Kokatahi River, for which tenders are being called. The Rope Construction Company were the contractors for the modern bridge over the Hokitika River at Kanieri, and the harbour works at Jackson’s Bay. The company also built the bridges over the Rakaia River.
