Mr Harry Reid, aged 62 years, a returned soldier of the 1914-18 war, and a single man, died yesterday morning at Kynnerelly Ward, Buller Hospital.

The death occurred yesterday morning of Mr Edward Mulqueen, aged 41, at his residence in Bright Street, Westport. He was a returned soldier of the last war. An inquest was opened for identification ' only, and was adjourned sine die. He is survived by a wife and a daughter. He was a native of Westport. The death occurred yesterday morning at the O’Connor Home, of Mrs Margaret Ann Williams at the age of 84. She is survived by three sons and one daughter. She had resided at the O’Connor Home for over three years. The sons are, Albert (Westport), William, and Fred (Karamea). The daughter is Mrs Black, of Kangahu, Karamea. The late Mrs Williams was a native of Cheviot, Canterbury.
