SIR B. FREYBERG TO VISIT AUSTRALIA
(Rec. 10.30). CANBERRA, April 19. ’ The Prime Minister, Mr J. B. Chifley, announced to-day that the Gov-ernor-General of New Zealand, General Sir Bernard Freyberg, and Lady Freyberg, would visit Australia in November. Mr Chifley sai dthat Sir Bernard and Lady Freyberg had been invited by Governor-General McKell, on behalf of _ the Commonwealth Government. He was sure that the Australians would be delighted to welcome such a distinguished and gallant soldier.
