The.main feature of the game was the outstanding play of the winning side’s forwards. With P. Smith, captain of the New Zealand Rugbv League team, hooldng the ball, his supports were given every opportunity. O’Halloran, halfback, went well in the first spell, and kept Henry and Adams well supplied with the ball. Henry played a sound game. ■ E. Lewis was one of the outstanding backs on the field, and scored ten of the Possibles fifteen points. D. Davis also went well. C. Gardiner and M. Tobeck were good forwards.
