KUMARA, April 18.
Mr. and/Mrs Brown, of- Remuera, visited'-. Kiima ra recently as tb,e guests of Mr'and Mrs J. Reedy. . Mrs E. Moss' and Mrs Palmer, oi Temuka, are here a. visit to Mrs J. Pool. ' Mrs Anderson, of Wellington, is visiting her "‘sister, Mrs McKenzie, street. Seven Kumara children are at present in hospital. They are: W. Neame, R. Pascoe, M. McGrath; R. Hunt. C. Ollerenshaw, J. Bishop and M. Ryan. . Mrs Tait (Wellington) is spending a holiday in Kumara with her sister Mrs W. Chamberlain. Mrs P. Duffy has returned _to Kumara, after a short visit to Christchurch. , , Mrs Risk, senior, and Mr and Mro W. Risk, of Timaru, were visitors to Kumara on Friday last. Mr and Mrs J. Holmes, of Tarata, Inglewood, are at present- visiting M and Mrs J. Holmes, senior, Second street. * Mr and Mrs Arthur Mclnroe, of Paekakariki, are visiting Rev Father O’Brien. , Mr C. Cox . has returned from Christchurch. ' Misses Brame and Salnaon of Auckland, are at present visiting Kumara. Miss Brame’s father was postmaster in Kumara over 4Q.years ago. Mrs R. Millson (a former resident of Dillmanstown) paid a brief visit here last week, before returning to her home, in Auckland. Miss Bella George (a former resident of Dillmanstown) \ now _Oi Christchurch, is at present visiting friends in Kumarg, Mrs D. McLean, arrived in Kumara bv Thursday’s express from Christchurch. ■’ -
