Shipwrecked Chinese Are Safe
(Rec 5.30). SHANGHAI, April 17. Five hundred passengers and crew of the Chinese freight steamer. Wanlee are safe and well in a small town in ’the vicinity of Chefoo, and they now are expected to be brought to Shanghai shortly. They landed m Communist-held territory, but were flowed to go free after a luggage inspection, by the Communists.
