Mr and Mrs Maurice Moon, of “Mistlands”, Murchison, are paying a visit to Greymouth.

Mrs D. Hunter, of Cobden, will leave this week by plane for St. Catherine’s, Ontario, Canada. Mesdames A. R. Schultze, D. Dixon and A. McMillan are at present in Dunedin attending the annual conference of the Dominion Council of Co-operative Women’s Guilds.

The Ruatapu sub-branch of the Westland Timber Workers Union at its last meeting passed a motion of sympathy with the relatives of the well-known residents of the district, recently deceased, Messrs Archibald McNeil and William Wilson.
