PARIS, February 27. The newspapers report that the Communist leader, M. Thorez, came to blows with a French Air Force officer in front of the Soviet Ambassador, M. Bogomolov, and quests attending a Soviet Embassy reception to mark the Red Army’s thirtieth anniversary on February 23. “Blood and vodka flowed freely,” stated one newspaper.
