Jewish Advertising For More U.S. Funds

(Rec. 6.30). NEW YORK, May 22. Some of the American newspapers are again publishing advertisements for Palestine Resistance founds. Over these advertisements the British Ambassador. Lord Inverchapel, is reported to have protested to the State Department.

In one advertisement the Jewish playwright,.? Ben Hecht, declares: — “American Jews are gratified whenever the Palestine terrorists strike blows against the British”. This advertisement is again being reprinted in the same form as before, with the addition of a panel stating, “This advertisement has had international repercussions, and it has moved the British Empire leaders to hysteria. The British are well justified in their concern, for this advertisement has aroused an enthusiastic and unprecedented American response. The American public demand prompts its re-publication”.
