Presntations to three members of the staff of the P.W.D. at Westport were made recently on behalf of the staff by Mr R. R. Dawber (local engineer). Two of the members of the staff were married recently, and one has resigned to enter business on his own account. The guests were Mrs Campbell (nee Miss Joan Anderson); and Messrs G. Hickford and P Williams.

The resignations of Mrs K. G. Graham, home science instructress, Reef ton, and Miss F. M. Walker, assistant teacher, Denniston, were accepted at a recent meeting of the Nelson Education Board.
