Federated Farmers
The monthly meeting of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was held in the Sergeant’s Hill hall last Tuesday evening, with a good attendance of members, Mrs W. H. Martin presiding. Apologies for non-at-tendance were received from Mesdames E. Lowe, A. Woodward and F. Skilton. Advice was received from headquarters that the Dominion president, Mrs W. Elliott, will attend the Associated Countrywomen’s conference in Amsterdam. At an earlier meeting it was agreed that all meetings in future will be held in the Sergeant’s Hill hall. A vote of thanks was accorded the hall committee for the use of their hall for meetings. A dainty supper was served by the ladies’ committee.
