United v. Old Boys
United beat Old Boys in a very solid forward game, on the Victoria Square by 14-8. At full-back, Phipps shone for the winners, while B. Gray showed plenty of ability and determination at first five-eighth Echersly and the Neighbour’s ers were prominent for United.
