COMMUNISM CONDEMNED BY N.Z. ORANGE LODGE

P.A. WELLINGTON, May 18. The following statement is issued by the Grand Orange Lodge of New Zealand: — “The Grand Orange Lodge of NewZealand, believing that the principles and practice of Communism in other countries have proved inimical to the development of free Christian democracy, calls upon its members to exercise their influence in all of the organisations with which they are connected to see that any attempt to develop a Communistic control shall be resisted to the utmost. “The principles of the Institution demand that its members oppose any form of Communism glorying in an internationalism with headquarters in Moscow, and recognising atheism as an essential part of its creed”.
