The funeral of the late Mr Christopher Johnston, of Otira, took place at the Karoro Cemetery on Saturday. Rev. K. G. Aubrey conducted the service in Bellamy’s Chapel, and later at the graveside.

Father J. Quinn conducted the service at St. Munchin’s Church, Totara Flat, and was assisted at the graveside by Very Rev. Monsignor J., Long and Rev. Father V. Flaherty.
