French Assembly Takes a Vote on Indo-China Policy
(Rec. 9.55). FARIS, Marcl'. 1 19. After an all night sitting, the French Assembly this morning approved the Government’s Indo-China policy by 421 votes to nil. The Communists, including the Communist Ministers, all abstained from? voting. Vietnamese forces fired at French warships in the Red River (Song Koi), without hitting them, reports the French News Agency. French troops repulsed an attack on Hanoi airport after sharp fighting.
