SWIMMING TO-NIGHT’S CARNIVAL

Excellent entries have been received for the Greymouth Swimming Club’s carnival to-night, when a large programme is to be run. An innovation will be a life-saving competition for a trophy donated by Mr E. McDonnell, winch should prove instructive to everyone. An added attraction will be an exhibition swim by Mr J. Clarke, who is on a business visit to the Coast, and who represented New Zealand at the Australian surf lifesaving championships held during 1939. He is now beltman of the wellknown and successful Maranui Surf Life-Saving Club, Wellington.
