SEAMEN’S SECRETARY'S TRIP (Roc. 9.0). CANBERRA, Feb. 21, Mr Chifley denied again that Mr Elliott was representing the Government in any way, or that he _ hao been given number one air priority to New Zealand. “What he got was number three priority. We do better than that for newspapers’ proprietors," said Mr Chifley. He continued that Mr Elliott 'had apparaenW asked if it were possible to facilitate his passage to New Zealand for his own Unions’ work, and that probably something had come into the supply department for him to be helped. “We do it for all businessmen. They do not get a Government sponsorship, but we help them if we can.”
