CONTROL REGULATIONS WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. Regulations gazetted to-night provide for the appointment of a pelt controller, and for the sale by auction of all sheep and lamb pelts, except those required for the local market. The general manager of the Meat Board, Mr J. J. Evans, has been appointed controller. Stabilisation of prices to the producers is provided for. A producer will receive the price for pelts fixed in the freezing companies’ schedule. Any surplus above this price realised from the sales is to be paid into the Meat Industry Stabilisation Account. Provision is also made for the. full requirements of local tanners to" be met, and also for requirements of the United Kingdom up to thirty per cent, of New Zealand’s export surplus. "
