GREY HARBOUR BOARD

At the monthly meeting the Greymouth Harbour Board decided that the appointment of a watchman for the dredge be ileft for the engineer, Mr D. S. Kennedy to arrange. The engineer reported a 50ft. mooring pile had been driven at Bay 195 to replace one which was recently, broken by the “Omana.” With regard to the lagoon footbridge, it was suggested that, in the meantime, a notice be erected warning the public that.it used the bridge at its own risk during the repair period. Transfers submitted for consent and subsequently granted were as follows:—Section 17. . Brunnerton, Mrs'. V. E. Holmes to R. J. Nichol; Section 204, Dobson, Roy Wick to Anne E. Bierne.
