SENTENCED IN NORWAY (Rec. 9.30). OSLO, August 26. Mrs Marie Hamsun, the wife of Mr Knut Hamsun, the author and Nobel Prize winner, has been sentenced to three years’ hard labour and fined seventy-five thousand kroner on conviction of collaborating with Germans. The Court also deprived her of civic rights, and ordered the confiscation of one hundred and fifty thousand kroner.
