Funeral
The funeral of the late Mr James Collier took place at Orowaiti Cemetery on Saturday morning, there being a large attendance from all parts of the district. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Canice’s Church by Rev. Father Phelan, who also conducted the service at the graveside. The pall-bearers were the deceased’s three sons, Messrs James, Jack, and Ron Collier, and Mr Vai O’Connell. Many beautiful floral .tributes were placed on the grave.
