Father Injured CAR STRIKES TELEGRAPH POLE. P.A. AUCKLAND, Aug. 25. A 7-year-old girl was killed instantly when the truck in which she was riding hit a telegraph pole on the main highway, two miles from the Thames Post Office, at 7.45 p.m. on Saturday. She was Millicent Lillian Ann Allwood, daughter of Albert Frederick All wood, of Turua. All\vood was driving the truck, which is owend by the Hauraki Carrying Company of Turua, and was travelling towards Thames when the accident occurred.
