WATAROA STOCK SALE

Messrs Dalgety and Company Ltd., report on the cattle sale held at Wataroa on Wednesday. There was an entry of 150 fat, and 50 store cattle. The fat cattle came principally from the Waiho district, and comprised lines of well-bred prime steers and heifers which sold to keen competition. The following is a list of the principal sales: — A/c. E. A. Gibbs', S steers at £2l 7s 6d; 7 heifers, at £l4 12s 6d; 3 cows at £l6 17s 6d; 2 cows at £ll 2s 6d. A/c. L. R. Gibb and Son, 6 heifers at £l6 17s 6d; 5 heifers at £l6 7s 6d. A/c. F. W. Gibb, 8 steers at £2O 17s 6d; 9 heifers at £l6 2's 6d; 3 cows at £l5 2s 6d. A/c. T. Nolan, 1 cow at £l3 7s 6d; 1 cow at £ll 2s 6d; 1 cow at £7 7s 6d; 14 heifers from £5 to £7, and 7 steers -at £7.
