RECORD PRICE FOR BULL
14,500 GUINEAS LONDON, February 13. Fourteen thousand, live hundred guineas—a world’s record for a pedigree cattle beast of any/ breed—was paid at a sale of shorthorns at Perth for the bull “Pittodrie Upright.” The seller was an Aberdeenshire farmer. Mr. R. Laidlaw Smith, and the buyer, Mr. Ralph L. A. Smith of Missouri.
