TRACK MEETING The weekly meeting of the Greymiuth Cycling Club was held in Victoria Park last night under ideal conditions. The track was hard and fast, and good fields faced the staiter in both senior events. The senior half mile was won in good time ov J. Gardner, who has put up some good
performances'over this distance recently, and the three mile race was won by_ V. Good-all from A, Bergamini with J. Cooper in third place. The latter rider gave a meritorious performance cIT 120 yard's, conceding 210 yards to the winner. The junior events did not. attract as large fields as usual, but the races run wSTts closely contested. Results are as follows:— SENIOR EVENTS Half-mile: J. Gardner (80) 1: H-‘ Pratt (40) 2; V. Goodall (80) 3. Tims 1.3 1-5. Thirteen started. Three miles:. V. Goodall (330) 1: A. Eergamini (350) 2;-J. Cooper (120) 3. Time:- 7min s.:ec. Twelve started. JUNIOR EVENTS Plalf mile: A. King (70) 1; A. Eergamini (30) 2; J. Alexander (GO) 3. Time: lmin lOsec. Seven started. Novice half mile: T. Franklin (30> 1; K. Morgan (90) 2: S. Goodall (scr) 3. Time: lmin 16 2-ssec. Five started.
