FOR WAR CRIMES
GERMANS SENTENCED IN RUSSIA. (Rec. 11.15). MOSCOW, January 29. Sixteen German officers and soldiers have been found guilty of war crimes in the Ukraine by a military tribunal sitting at Kiev. Twelve of them, including' three generals, have been sentenced to death by hanging. The others have been sentenced to from 15 to 20 years’ penal servitude.
