P.A. WELLINGTON, January 29. The weather report is as follows: —
Situation: An anti-cyclone covers most of the Dominion. A trough is expected to cross the South Island from the west, during Wednesday. Forecast to 5 p'.m. on Wednesday: Freshening northerly winds, later hacking to south-westerly. Weather unsettled, with rain developing, but improving again later in the day in South Westland. Further outlook: Unset lied.
