BRITISH GOVERNMENT TAKES OVER ARMS FACTORIES ’’London, Oct. b. The “Daily Express” says that ths Government has decided to take over nineteen Royal Ordnance factories, mostly built in wartime, as permanent arms factories. Britain, before the war. had eight State ordnance works. The naper says the decision reflects the .Government’s intention to restrict and eventually abolish, the private manufacture of arms.
