BOERS AND BRITISH LARGE NUMBER INJURED JOHANNESBURG. Sept. 18 Sixty people received hospital treatment after skirmishes between Government and Opposition supporters during the Opposition Nationalist Party “Victory” congress. Large forces of police prevented a major riot developing outside the city hall, where the congress was being held’, when a crowd assembled to hear speakers from the Springbok Legion (soldiers’ organisation).
