The secretary of the West Coast Rugby League, Mr T. F. McKenzie, advises that the foilowing; teami -as been selected to represent the Southern Leagues to meet the Northern Leagues, at Carlaw Park, Auckland, on Saturday, October 6:— Full back: J. Soster (West Coast). Three-quarters: C. Davidson (Canterbury), W. Mountford (West Coast), A. Stenhouse (West Coast). Five-eighths: C. Mountford (West Coast), J." McNaughton (West Coast). Half-back: H. Mallindcr (WelbngtOForwards: K. Mountford (West Coast 1 C. Mcßride (West Coast), F. Moses’(Wellington), F. Smith (Canterbury), R. Aynsley (West Coast), J. Newton (West Coast). Emergencies: Back: R. Brown (Canterbury); forward; A. Gillman (Canterbury). The selectors were, Messrs Duncan (Wellington). W. Desmond (Canterbury), and J. Dodds (West Coast). The team, which will leave for Auckland on October 2, will be managed by Mr J. Oakley, of Greymouth.
