WEDDING

WYLDE—MOORE. The wedding took place recently at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, of Mary Esma Moore, youngest daughter of Mrs T. T. Williams and the late Mr H. A. Moore, Greymouth, and John Wylde, 2nd. N.Z.E.F., returned from overseas, and only son of Mr W. Wylde and the late Mrs Wylde, of Coromandel. Rev. Father V. Flaherty officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her brother-in-law, Mr J. Collissy wore a frock of white satin macle on slimfitting lines, tucked at the front, and crossed over to form a V neckline. The sleeves came to a point over the wrists, and the gored skirt fell to form a train. Her embroidered tulle veil, lent, by the bride’s cousin, Mrs W. Kennedy, fell to form a second train, and was held in place with a top knot of white chrysanthemums. She carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums, freesias, and maiden-hair fern.

Miss Gwen Bloomfield, of Nelson, was bridesmaid, and wore a povvder blue sheer frock made on similar lines to that, of the bride. She wore an early Victorian bonnet of the same shade, and carried a shower bouquet of pink chrysanthemums and stocks and maiden-hair fern. The flower girl, little Joan Kennedy, cousin of the bride, was daintly dressin a pale pink sheer frock made with gathered waist and puffed sleeves. The hem-line was frilled and finished with blue bows. She wore a Juliet cap finished with blue bows, and carried a posy of pink chrysanthemums, stocks, and freesias. Tattle Ronald C'olliss, nephew ot the bride, as page boy was dressed in a suit of cream satin with long full breeches and long waisted jacket.

Mr W. Ward was best man. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a horseshoe by her cousin, Pauline Kennedy. The ■ reception was held at Herb Moore’s, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, who wore a black frock relieved with white, under’ a fur cape with black accessories. She was assisted by the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs H. Clarke, oi Reefton, who wore a check frock under a brown coat with accessories. Both wore shoulder sprays of red roses and maiden-hair fern. Mr and Mrs Wylde later left by. rail-car for the south, the bride wear; ing a blue frock under a fur coat, with blue accessories to match. Their future home will be in Wellington.
