YESTERDAY’S RACES A cycle road race was, held yesterday morning over a distance of about 6 miles from the Australasian Hotel to Paroa and back. Results were: K. Lalor 1. M. Malone 2, R. Armstrong 3. J. Cooper secured fastest time, covering the distance in 16 minutes. Fourteen started. A novice race held at Cobden yesterday afternoon over a two and a half mile course resulted: N. Edwards (5 secs) 1; A. Bergamini (scr) 2; and fastest time, S. Goodall (35 secs)
